Dr. Kevin Phillip Johnson

Associate Professor of Music at Spelman College and a renowned musician, conductor, and composer in demand both nationally and internationally. He holds degrees from California State University, Los Angeles (B.A., M.A.) and the University of Missouri, Kansas City (D.M.A.).

His extensive catalog includes seven mass settings, more than 300 psalm settings, and many sacred songs — resulting in performances for church and school choruses, all-state choral festivals, Catholic Archdioceses nationwide, and international tours with the Spelman College Glee Club.
